As-Siraat is continually growing as a da'wah organisation. For as-Siraat to be successful and excel in it's da'wah we need the support of those with a passion and drive for da’wah to get involved. Many of us have important skills and experience that can be utilized to benefit our call to Allaah azza wa jaal.

By joining as-Siraat you will gain an opportunity to reach out to the community through organised da'wah. Our da'wah joins the innovative and classical methods together to spread the pure message of Islaam, found in the Qur'aan and Sunnah. By joining us, the skills and knowledge you possess will be utilised within our organisation to serve the da'wah.

Not only will you gain the reward of Allaah in spreading His deen but you will also join a team of like-minded brothers and sisters that help us in our eemaan.

Who are we looking for?  

At as-Siraat we are looking for individuals who want to be part of our vision and can make a difference. Individuals who are upon the Qur'aan and Sunnah, have zeal, good character and a drive to reform and cultivate our community. We at as-Siraat give great importance to team work and supporting one another to accomplish our goals. We need individuals who are strong team players and also those who possess leadership qualities.

We give emphasis for individuals to work upon three main qualities; Ikhlaas, Taqwa and Ihsaan. Ikhlaas leads one to be completely sincere in their da'wah to Allaah azza wa jaal and they're always aware of their ultimate goal. Taqwa leads one to do actions that earn the Pleasure of Allaah and refrain from actions that bring the Wrath of Allaah. And Ihsaan leads a person to strive hard to excel and perfect in their actions for Allaah ta'ala.

Opportunities

Currently as-Siraat are focusing on da'wah to Muslims only. In the future we will begin our recruitment for 'Know Your Lord' and 'New Muslim Support'.

Opportunities to volunteer exist in:

• Community projects that focus on the current needs of the Muslim community
• Logistics of as-Siraat events such as lectures, courses and conferences across South Wales or your local city
• Marketing and market research for as-Siraat events and projects
• Multimedia and Graphic design
• Fundraising

Training and Development

We provide training and development through two means. The first is through practical engagement in activities alongside experienced brothers (or sisters). The experienced members will advise and guide new members to help them in their development. The second is through a mandatory volunteer training workshop that will be launched in the near future. The training will provide volunteer guidelines, develop team work, time management and vision mastery for all our members.
